Here is the BARE TRUTH, God hates sin, but loves the sinner. He has created both Heaven and Hell and you will spend eternity in one or the other! The NAKED FACTS are that you will determine where you spend eternity. It is up to you to respond to God’s offer of Heaven. If you do not, then you will be part of those mentioned in the verses below. You have read this far, take a few minutes now and consider eternity, will it be Hell or Heaven?

Revelation 21:8

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

…how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Before I give you the only right answer to the above question as recorded in the Holy Bible, let me tell you about the damnation of Hell.

Eternal Flames

Mark 9:45-46
 ...to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. KJV

Let’s face it, as humans we can not begin to understand a fire that shall never be quenched, a fire that burns forever yet does not even kill a worm. All those that reject the gift of Eternal Life through the finished work of Jesus Christ will be consigned to this Eternal Fire. John 5:28-29 - Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. KJV

Oh yes, you will live forever, but in an unquenchable fire!

Pain and Suffering

Luke 16:23
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, KJV

Luke 16:24-25
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. KJV

Matthew 8:12
But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. KJV

There are many other verses that describe the pain and suffering that will be a part of Hell. Can you imagine living in an Eternal Fire that will not consume you but in fact will have you to experience pain, suffering and an unquenchable thirst forever! Take the worst time in your life, the most uncomfortable moment you have ever experienced or the worst pain that you have ever had and consider that being your eternal future. Now multiply it a thousand times and you will get a feel for the pain and suffering Hell has awaiting all its inhabitants.

...and when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him. KJV

Exodus 10:22
And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: KJV

1 Samuel 2:9
He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. KJV

2 Peter 2:4
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment KJV

Jude 13
Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. KJV

The above verses describe darkness in some very interesting terms. They refer to the HORROR OF DARKNESS, the THICKNESS OF DARKNESS, the SILENCE OF DARKNESS, the CHAINS OF DARKNESS and the BLACKNESS OF DARKNESS FOREVER. I will never forget our family trip to the Mammoth Caves in Kentucky. At one point our tour guide asked us to all be still and not move. He explained that he was going to turn the cave lights off and that we would experience a darkness that most of us had never been exposed to in our lives. Since we were deep inside the cave, there was absolutely NO LIGHT to penetrate the thick darkness. As the lights were turned off, there was a strange silence in this darkness. No one seemed to say anything, and frankly there was a sense of horror. I could not see my hand in front of my face. I could feel the blackness of this darkness.

Then all of a sudden, much to my surprise and relief, the guide had moved to a higher position in the cave and lit his lighter. I was amazed at how much light emanated from that small flame.

You see, the worst part of Hell is not the Eternal Flames that can never be quenched or the Eternal Pain and Suffering. It is the total absence of Light; it is the thick horrible blackness of the darkness that will surround those that reject the gift of God. Jesus Christ is the Light of the World. The worst part of Hell is the total absence of the presence of God. Which means there will be NO LIGHT, NO JOY, NO PEACE, NO HOPE, NO COMFORT, NO FAMILY, NO FRIENDS AND WORST OF ALL

I can not understand why anyone would want to spend even one minute in Hell. Jesus Christ has provided a way to escape Hell.

Matthew 23:33

…how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Acts 26:18
18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. KJV

Colossians 1:12-14
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: KJV

The fact that you have taken the time to read this far is an indication that you have an interest in escaping the horror of Hell.

The answer is really very simple. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul. The Bible teaches that God the Father loves you so much that He sent His Son (Jesus Christ) to die on the cross of Calvary. Jesus Christ’s death on Calvary paid the price for your sins, my sins, the sins of anyone in world that is willing to accept, believe and repent. Repent means to change the way you think and act. Consider the following verses, as they will reveal God’s plan of escape from the damnation of Hell.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. KJV

Dear God,

I confess to you that I am a sinner that has fallen short of your standards. I by faith now ask you to become my personal Saviour and Lord. I accept your free gift of Eternal Life through your Son Jesus Christ. I am willing to turn from my sins; I am willing to learn to obey you as directed by your Word and Holy Spirit. Thank you Father for loving me. Thank you Jesus for dying for me. Thank you Holy Spirit for now living in me.
